Baridi offers growers an efficient route to high-quality fruit production. This year-round variety thrives without the need for chill periods and requires minimal pruning.
Its picking efficiency is unmatched, up to 40% faster than other varieties, particularly at lower plant densities of 2 to 3 plants per linear meter. The fruits maintain a pleasing conical shape and a consistently light red colour, with no discoloration after harvest.
Baridi reaches mid-pick production within 16 to 18 weeks from planting. It is a winter-hardy variety that delivers excellent yields, rapid harvests, and demonstrates resilience and heat tolerance.
